DSE-801 Replacement AC Charger  worked fine with automatic batteries, but manual batteries are a problem. You basically have to force the button into the battery receptacle and that tears the PVC switch cover a little. When you do that,  eventually it could harm the actual manual switch. There may be a special charger for the 'Manual Batteries', but I did not find any mention of that on the website.
