It does charge up in a couple of hours, and I get 3 recharges of regular size batteries out of it. It would be far more convenient if they had used the space taken up in the case by the USB plug to install a mini or micro USB jack instead, since the cord on the provided plug is less than 2 inches long and so thin that I hesitate to let it dangle off a wall charger or computer box without some support. But for the price, it's very good.

this baby works great! A must have.Get about 41/2 battery charges out of it depending on the battery size,recharges from the computer via USB in about 3-4 hours and you are ready to go,all for about 1/3 the price of elsewhere.
